the Beautification Committee awarded the September Yard of the Month to Dawn and David Lazar, who reside at 1471 E. State St. This beautiful home was built in 1890, and the Lazar’s have worked hard for the last 30 years restoring it to its original charm. The gold faces on the front porch, as well as the stained -glass windows, were handmade by David. Dawn finds many treasures to add to her landscaping at estate sales.
