‘Cook’s Night Off’ in Winona

The Winona United Methodist Church, 32114 Winona Road, will hold its next “Cook’s Night Off” drive-thru dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. (or until sold out) April 7. The meal costs a suggested donation of $8 and includes roast turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, cranberry salad and pumpkin dessert. Pre-order by calling the church office at 330-222-1211 before noon that day. Pre-ordered dinners must be picked up by 6 p.m.

Mass vaccination in Boardman

Mahoning County Public Health is accepting appointments for the area’s regional mass vaccination clinic. The regional mass vaccination clinic is located at the former Dillard’s Department Store at the Southern Park Mall in Boardman. The Johnson and Johnson vaccine will be available at this clinic and for individuals 18 years of age or older. Appointment times for the first clinic to be held on Thursday, April 1 can be made through MCPH’s scheduling system, ArmorVax, which can be found at www.mahoninghealth.org. For those needing assistance with the online scheduling system, call 330-270-2855 Option 9. Additional appointment dates and times will be made available each week based on demand.

Easter egg hunt in Salem

Salem Parks and Recreation with Berkshire Hathaway and Stouffer Realty will present an Easter Egg Hunt at 11 a.m. April 3 at Waterworth Memorial Park off Sunset Boulevard. Hunts will be held from children under 5 years at 11 a.m.; children ages 5 through 7 at 11:15 a.m.; and children ages 8 through 10 at 11:30 a.m. Masks must be worn and social distancing followed, with no congregating.
