ACROSS OUR COMMUNITIES

‘Tis the season for gardening

The East Palestine Town and Country Garden Club recently had a planning meeting to go over our goals and determine plans for the rest of 2021. To attract new members, meetings will now be held from 6-8 p.m. the second Monday of each month. On nice weather days, the club will be meeting outside at the unnumbered pavilion, (located behind pavilion No. 19/20), at the East Palestine park. If cold or wet, meetings will be held at the First Church of Christ. To welcome all to the first meeting, snacks will be provided and members will go over plans for the year and organizing committees for our events. This first Garden Club meeting will be 6 p.m. this Monday, April 19, at the First Church of Christ. Remember to wear a mask. The annual plant sale will be held Memorial Day weekend, May 28 and 29, at Dogs on the Run, East Palestine. Time are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. There will have hanging baskets, assorted plants and other garden gifts available.
