Catholic Charities Regional Agency’s office located at 115 E. Washington St in Lisbon, is available to assist the community with basic needs. Eligible clients will be assessed for unpaid (past due) bills for such things as housing issues, utilities and food. Casework efforts will evaluate the need and where the best course of action may lie to help the household. If another program in the community better suits the case, a referral will be facilitated. Vouchers to landlords or utility companies will be issued for payment. No cash is provided to clients. Assistance for families with small children is also available including diapers. Hours for walk-ins are 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday.. Face masks are required. Appointments are preferred; call 330-420-0845. Be prepared to share the past due bills, account information and/ or landlord or vendor information.
