Banquet in Salem to feature turkey
Geoff and Kim Goll will sponsor in memory of Ellie Parker the drive-thru Banquet in Salem from 5 p.m. until the food runs out (no later than 7 p.m.) Monday at the Salem Memorial Building. Meals are limited to one per occupant of a vehicle and include turkey and dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, applesauce, fresh vegetables, fresh fruit and cookies. BLHS Class of ’76 to hold reunion
The Beaver Local Class of 1976 will hold its class reunion at 5 p.m. July 3 at Karla Hoppel Holden’s home on Moore Road, East Liverpool. A Mexican food truck will be on site for food purchase. Lisbon schools offering free lunches
Lisbon Exempted Village School District is offering free lunches again this year through the USDA summer feeding program. Lunches will be available daily Mondays thru Fridays at McKinley Elementary from June 7 through 30 then from July 6 through Aug. 13 and also at David Anderson from June 7 through June 30. Each location is open from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and includes lunch which either can be dine in or carryout and a breakfast bag for the next morning. This program is available to anyone 18 years or under, not just residents of Lisbon. Two entree choices will be available daily and each lunch includes entree, hot vegetable, cold vegetable, fruit and milk choice.
