The Salem Historical Society will participate in the Salem Super Cruise with four classic automobiles on display from 3:30 to 8:30 p.m. today and 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Saturday in the museum parking lot. In addition to the four automobiles, the society’s 1923 Ford will also be displayed.

The Society’s gift shop will also be open from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday with a large collection of Salem articles, Salem Yearbooks, many used cook books and other items.

With the Super Cruise events, the Gift Shop has prepared Del Davis’s building of Salem’s first ‘horseless carriage” in 1900, 121 years ago. This was done by Salem’s Don Mathews from the diary of Del Davis.
