Crestview BOE to meet Monday at middle school

Crestview Local school board will hold a special meeting at 5 p.m. Monday in the middle school cafeteria for a work session and any other matters that come before the board.

Middleton Twp. to work on Riffle Road

Middleton Township is scheduled to start reclaiming approximately three quarters of a mile of Riffle Road east from state Route 7. Road closure and delays are possible. Work should last three or four days.

School supplies to be distributed for EP kids

Social Concerns will distribute school supplies for K-12 students of the East Palestine School District Aug. 9. The Social Concerns office at Centenary Methodist Church will be open from 9:30 to 11 a.m. and 5 to 6 p.m. Proof of residence is required.

Moderna vaccine clinic set in East Liverpool

There will be a free walk in Moderna vaccine clinic from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 4 and 11 at East Liverpool City Hall, 126 W. 6th St. Press 1 on the elevator and turn right to head straight into the nurse’s office. For information call 330-385-5123.

Salem All Class Reunion band schedule listed

The Salem High School Alumni Association has announced the schedule for the bands to play at the All Class Reunion that will be held Aug. 7 at the Salem Saxon Club. The SHSAA Annual Meeting will begin at 3:30 p.m. and music from Jimmy and the Soulblazers will follow. The Walt Wise One Man Band will play at approximately 6 p.m. and the 1988 Band will begin their performance after that. The evening will end with music from Sparky B. Tickets are on sale at the alumni association’s website at www.salemohioalumni.org or the alumni office. The $30 ticket will include musical entertainment from four groups and four tickets for water and light refreshments. Because of the Star Trax event, alumni can buy a $10 ticket at the gate after 9 p.m. The All Class Reunion will be over at approximately 11:30 p.m.
