EP garden club sets dates for home tour

The East Palestine Town and Country Garden Club is making final preparations for the 2021 Snowflake Village Home Tour. After an absence of several years, the Home Tour was welcomed back in 2019 and was hugely successful. But due to COVID, the Home Tour 2020 was canceled.

The dates for this year’s tour are: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the following businesses: EAST PALESTINE: Flowers Straight from the Heart, 1820 House, Mama’s Attic and T & M Hardware. UNITY: Runnion’s Originals. COLUMBIANA: Pewter Peddler. Tickets may also be purchased at any of the featured homes during the tour. For more information, contact Bev Leake at 330-853-0986.

The Historical Society will be serving refreshments, both days, at the Log Cabin. The Unity Grange will have a Craft Show, Lunch, and Bake Sale. The East Palestine Library will be serving refreshments both days.

The East Palestine Town and Country Garden Club meets the second Monday of each month, at the East Palestine Village Park during the spring, summer and fall months (weather permitting) and at The First Church of Christ during the winter months and with inclement weather. Meetings start at 6 p.m. For more information on membership, contact Pam Figley at 330-429-3325.
