South Range (‘08) alum graduates from Oxford University in England
Captain Isaac Melnick, from Green Township, graduated from Oxford University, England, September, 2021, with a Master’s in Business Administration. Melnick, homeschooled through grade six, is a 2008 graduate of South Range High School and a 2012 graduate of West Point Military Academy, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Melnick graduated from Ranger School and served a tour of duty in Afghanistan as a platoon leader. He was in South Range High School band one year and played varsity football and varsity baseball. He was class valedictorian, class president and homecoming king.
Melnick resided in Oxford, England, for the school year with his wife, Meghan, who gave birth to their son, Russell James, in England. The couple have returned to the U.S. where they temporarily reside in Columbus, Georgia, while he seeks employment.
Melnick is the son of Diana Melnick and the late Atty. Robert of Green Township, Salem.
