The Salem High School Alumni Association is celebrating its longevity and success. Salem High School alumni are proud of the organization’s June birthday commemorating 140 years of maintaining SHSAA’s mission to award scholarships to qualified students, manage assets including memorabilia for future generations, and honor the organization’s past by nurturing friendships and enriching memories.

Alumni and friends are encouraged to honor this occasion by purchasing a specially created SHSAA Founders’ Day Birthday Box, full of Salem-centric items for $100. Half of the cost of the box will be recorded as a $50 donation to the association. Items in the box include two SHSAA coffee mugs, Lib’s coffee, Heggy’s candy, Whisky Stix, a Cooking with the Quakers cookbook, a $50 gift certificate from Studio 1170, and an SHSAA keychain.

Orders can be taken over the phone, in-person, or online by accessing the SHS alumni association’s website at www.salemohioalumni.org from now until July 15. The boxes will be available for pick up or they will be mailed at an added cost of $25 to cover postage fees. These boxes are limited editions, so alumni and friends are encouraged to order them soon. Pick-up at the alumni office located in downtown Salem or mailed delivery will be after July 25.
