MCCTC invites the public to its Summer Career Training Exploration Events
CANFIELD – Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, Adult Career Center on Palmyra Road invites the public to attend its 2024 Summer Career Training Exploration Events.
June 25, 8 to 10 a.m.
“Coffee and Career Chat: Healthcare Programs
A session with the early riser in mind. Join MCCTC Adult Career Center’s Healthcare Programs coordinator for a relaxed morning information session, coffee and breakfast pastries. The main focus will be on Fall Medical Assistant and Medical Office Specialist Programs.
July 9, 4:30 to 6 p.m.
“Tour and Test: All Programs”
Potential students are invited to take a tour, apply to the program of their choice and take the required entrance exam – all in one afternoon. Career Training Program Coordinators and MCCTC’s Student Recruiter will be on hand to meet with individuals and help them apply to a program. The TABE entrance exam begins promptly at 6 p.m. Individuals should call to register for the event before attending at 330-729-4100.
July 16 and Aug. 13, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
“Lunch and Learn: Healthcare Programs”
Participants are invited to grab a quick, complimentary lunch, participate in a micro skill-based exploration workshop and hear from the Career Center’s Healthcare Programs Coordinator.
Individuals wishing to register for any of the summer events can call the MCCTC Adult Career Center office at 330-729-4100. All events are free. Registration is not required, but appreciated.
