LISBON — The Lisbon Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual “Christmas in July” event Saturday from noon until 7 p.m. with attractions for every member — including the four-legged ones.

The festivities begin at noon in downtown Lisbon in the Courthouse parking lot and spread to the Gazebo Square with nearly two dozen crafters set to share their wares. There will be food trucks scheduled the entire day.

The Village Singers will be singing Christmas Carols throughout the early afternoon and the Keller Family Singers will perform at 2 p.m. The Wh@tevr Band will take the stage from 5 to 7 p.m.

A bounce house and inflatable games will be open for the kids from noon until 4 p.m. Face-painting, temporary tattoos and other fun surprises will also be available. Call the chamber office at 330-424-1803 to schedule a Dog Painting session for a fur-kid.

Santa is expected to visit from 1 until 4 p.m.

The chamber will be collecting new, packaged blankets and pillows to fill a fire truck as part of the Village’s new “Small Village – Big Heart” holiday distribution initiative. This year all of Lisbon’s Christmas drives are being coordinated to avoid duplication. The chamber is overseeing the blanket/pillow drive.
