COLUMBIANA — The Columbiana Women’s Club (CWC), a civic organization providing a welcoming space to gather, grow and be part of the community, is hosting a Reindeer & Roof Tea at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024, in its 121 N. Main St. location.

“Columbiana Women’s Club exists to provide opportunities for people to share interests, develop new skills and enjoy the company of others, so we can think of no better way to mark the replacement of the roof on our century house than to invite the community to enjoy a holiday tea with us,” shares CWC President Laurie Steeb.

Set to coincide with the official kick-off of Christmas in Columbiana, the tea celebrates the CWC’s new roof and the start of the holidays with an afternoon tea featuring seasonal tea blends, petite sandwiches and sweet treats among the club’s holiday decor.

RSVPs are requested as seating is limited. The cost is $25 per person ($20 for club members). Cash or check only; make checks payable to Columbiana Women’s Club, 121 N. Main, Columbiana, OH 44408.

Men are welcome to attend as well.

Nestled on historic Main Street in Columbiana, the “clubhouse” was deeded to the women of Columbiana in 1966 by Mrs. Helen Buzzard. A year later, the Columbiana Women’s Club was incorporated and continues to be administered by a board overseen by local women’s clubs. The interior of the clubhouse was refreshed several years ago and is home to Green Thum Garden Club, Readers Guild, card clubs and more. Membership is $25 annually.
