Judge Robb appointments
YOUNGSTOWN — The Honorable Carol Ann Robb of the Seventh District Court of Appeals began 2025 by fulfilling one of the annual responsibilities in her continued service to the court. As presiding and administrative judge for 2025, Robb was required to make certain designations and appointments pursuant to the rules governing the judiciary. These rules provide for a review process for any grievances lodged against Supreme Court justices.
Robb recently designated her colleagues the Honorable Cheryl L. Waite as the senior appellate judge in service and the Honorable Mark A. Hanni as an additional judicial designation from the appellate bench.
In addition, Robb appointed the Honorable Jennifer L. Arnold of Noble County Court and the Honorable Chris Berhalter of the Belmont County Court of Common Pleas to serve on the hearing panel, if needed.
“I would like to thank my colleagues as well as the trial court judiciary for agreeing to serve in this capacity. Although these precautionary measures are for review and hearing panels that we hope are not needed, it is crucial to the integrity of our judicial system to provide for such a thorough and fair grievance process, even for grievances lodged against the highest court in the state,” Robb said.
These designations are for a one-year period to serve if needed on a review and panel for such a grievance.
