MCCTC to host Hack the Valley
The Mahoning County Career and Technical Center will host Hack the Valley 2025: Frostbyte Edition, the region’s only high school 48-hour hackathon Jan. 17 through 19. High school students are invited to explore technology, innovation and collaboration. A hackathon is a creative marathon where participants work in teams to solve problems, build projects, and learn hands-on skills in fields like coding, robotics, and app development. Hack the Valley is a unique opportunity to foster creativity, teamwork, and STEM learning. Students will gain valuable experience, connect with mentors, and compete for prizes and recognition.
