BOARDMAN — The Junior League of The Mahoning Valley (JLMV) invites the community to its third annual PAW-Lapalooza, a family-friendly event celebrating dogs and their owners. The event will take place Saturday, April 26, from noon to 3 p.m. at Boardman Park and promises a fun-filled afternoon for pet lovers of all ages. One of the event’s main attractions is the PAW-Lapalooza Dog Show, featuring six exciting contest categories: peanut butter licking contest, best costume, what’s in a name, youngest to oldest, judges’ choice, and best talent. Dogs will compete in Small/Medium and Large dog divisions, with first, second and third place ribbons awarded in each category.
Pet owners can enter their dogs for $10 each, which includes a doggy swag bag full of goodies (while supplies last). To register, participants can email Pawlapaloozadogshow@gmail.com or call 330-743-3200. All dogs must remain leashed and have proof of rabies vaccination to participate.
In addition to the dog show, PAW-Lapalooza will feature a variety of local vendors, pet-friendly activities, and refreshments for attendees to enjoy.
The Junior League of Mahoning Valley encourages community members to attend and take part in the event, whether by entering their pet in the competition or simply enjoying the festivities.
