United Local inducts new NHS members

United Local School National Honor Society welcomed 27 new members along with 17 current senior NHS members at their induction ceremony. To qualify for NHS, students must meet certain academic criteria and demonstrate characteristics of the four pillars of NHS which include: character, leadership, scholarship and service. This group is led by advisor Danielle Burch, a teacher at United Local Schools. Several senior NHS members participated in this ceremony with the lighting of candles to explain about the four pillars of National Honor Society.
