Chamber Gallery of Art

The next artist at the Chamber Gallery of Art, located inside the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce, 210 E. State St., is Melissa Seltz.

She is an East Palestine-based artist who specializes in acrylic and watercolor paintings. She is self-taught and has been creating since she was a child. As a strong supporter of the prevention of domestic violence, she has participated in several shows to raise awareness and aid domestic violence survivors.

Banquet in Salem

Fresh Mark will sponsor the Dine In or Drive Thru Banquet in Salem from 5 p.m. until the food is gone Monday at the Salem Memorial Building. The menu will include ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, applesauce, fresh vegetables and fruit, and cookies. Dine in will park in designated area behind that building and proceed to the front door. Drive thru will line up in lot behind the building; one meal per individuals in the vehicles. Lisbon Church of the Nazarene will host a free concert by Jonathan White at 6 p.m. July 27. The public is welcome to attend.

CWC event rescheduled

The Columbiana Women’s Club (CWC) has rescheduled The Holy Land lunch and learn for noon on Friday, Aug. 15, at the clubhouse, 121 N. Main St., Columbiana. Join Grace Church Interim Rev. Dr. Steven Cramer to explore The Holy Land, the area nestled between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River that is sacred to Judaism, Christianity, Islam and Baha’i. Discover the area’s biblical, cultural and historical significance, including pilgrimage sites, during this lunch and learn offered by Columbiana Women’s Club.
