LISBON — A Youngstown man who attempted to run from deputies during a traffic stop on Aug. 21 appeared in Columbiana County Municipal Court on Friday and had his case bound over to the county common pleas court.
Willie L. Curry, 32, is charged with having weapons under disability for allegedly having a .380-caliber semi-automatic pistol hidden in the groin area of his pants during the traffic stop on Sprucevale Road in Middleton Township. He was a passenger in the vehicle that was stopped by a deputy and attempted to run during a pat-down procedure but was apprehended.
Also in county municipal court, Cameron Martin Bratt, 61, Justison Road, East Palestine, was fined $210, charged with driving under FRA suspension, seat belt and left of center.
Joseph A. Ross, 19, Summit Street, Salem, was fined $150 for possession of marijuana.
Aleli G. Amabile, 52, Dogwood Circle, New Waterford, was fined $30 for speeding.
Amonte A. Donaldson, 25, Youngstown, was fined $350, placed on one year probation and required 20 hours community service for driving under license forfeiture suspension and failure to move left for a public safety vehicle.
An Oct. 9 pretrial was set for Angela K. Nail, 38, state Route 7, New Waterford, charged with domestic violence for allegedly pulling her daughter’s hair, pushing her, striking her in the face and scratching her arms and back on Wednesday at the home.
An Oct. 18 pretrial was set for Brandon Allen Baxtor, 34, Canton, charged with speeding.
An Oct. 18 pretrial was set for Philip Andrew Stellema, 26, Somerdale, Ohio, charged with no passing zone and speeding.
A Sept. 18 pretrial was set for Brooke A. Preston, 20, West Washington Street, Lisbon, charged with possession of marijuana.
A Sept. 6 pretrial was set for Steven M. Pinciaro, 55, state Route 14, East Palestine, charged with aggravated menacing for allegedly calling the county sheriff’s office repeatedly and threatening a dispatcher on Thursday and threatening to “rip her head off,” and also threatening to kick sheriff’s deputies who responded to his home that same day.
A Nov. 13 pretrial was set for Wayne Thomas Kaminski, 44, Old state Route 558, Salem, charged with disorderly conduct, failure to comply with ordinance or signal/police officer.
An Oct. 23 pretrial was set for Christopher John Thomas, 33, Gavers Road, Hanoverton, charged with possession of drug abuse instrument and drug paraphernalia.
