LISBON — Albert M. White, 18, state Route 170, East Palestine, was sentenced in Columbiana County Municipal Court to seven days in jail, fined $200 and required 40 hours community service for arson for setting a fire at the softball fields on Brookdale Avenue on Aug. 14. Additionally, White was ordered to pay $135 to the East Palestine Girls Softball Association.

A Jan. 29 pretrial was set for Alexander T. Pecor, 18, Signal Road, Columbiana, charged with inducing panic. Pecor allegedly made several comments on Snap Chat that people better watch their backs at school on Friday and that he was finally going to do something at school on Friday, leaving people concerned he was going to commit acts of violence at school.

A Jan. 14 pretrial was set for Ronald A. James III, 47, Cuyahoga Falls, cited with OVI first offense and failure to control.

A Jan. 24 pretrial was set for Carlos Sierra Altamirano, 28, Mountz Drive, Salem, cited with OVI first offense and lighted lights required.

A Jan. 7 pretrial was set for Alexis E. Hawken, 24, East Perry Street, Salem, cited with OVI first offense, driving under suspension and speeding.

Gerald Mick II, 60, Glasgow Road, Lisbon, pleaded guilty to OVI first offense and failure to control. A sentencing hearing was set for Nov. 26.

A Jan. 15 pretrial was set for Melinda Schroeder, 35, Richardson Avenue, Negley, charged with obstructing official business for allegedly turning in community service hours she did not actually perform at the East Palestine Presbyterian Church.

A Nov. 19 pretrial was set for Richard M. Cox, 36, Shady Lane, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly attacking his wife, Dawn Cox, who he claimed was sexting another man on her phone when he tried to take her phone and shoved her into a nail sticking out of the bathroom wall.

A Nov. 19 pretrial was set for Bernard L. Cooper, 36, East Martin Street, East Palestine, charged with domestic violence for allegedly assaulting Kayla Cooper on Sunday, taking her phone off her, smashing it off the corner of the kitchen stove and grabbing her by the throat.

Serenity D. Muransky, 22, Canfield, was credited with two days in jail and fined $100 for persistent disorderly conduct for scratching and biting her mother and uncle during an altercation in East Palestine on Sept. 8.

A Nov. 19 pretrial was set for Richard A. Dyke, 53, Quay Road, Negley, charged with domestic violence for allegedly assaulting Bernard L. Cooper Jr., his son-in-law, grabbing him by the throat and shoving him numerous times on Sunday.

Mark A. Swinehart, 49, Union Street, Columbiana, was fined $200 and credited with two days served in jail for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for shoving a table at Margaret Lower and threatening to kill her and slice her throat on Aug. 4.

A Jan. 31 pretrial was set for Kayla J. Post, 31, U.S. Route 62, Salem, charged with assault for allegedly biting James Roger Cline II on his face on Sunday.

Cortni D. Rankin, 27, Cricket Lane, Columbiana, was fined $350, was credited with 30 days in jail and had her license suspended for 180 days for possession of drug abuse instrument for a hypodermic syringe on Oct. 17 and obstructing official business for lying to police looking for Paul Kern.

Harold Bell Jr., 55, East Third Street, Salem, was fined $150 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Bambi A. Woodworth, 35, Sharp Street, Salem, was fined $260 and required 40 hours community service for driving under suspension, speeding and a seat belt violation.

Christopher Arthur Pate, 38, Summerset Road, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for speeding.

A Jan. 14 pretrial was set for Harper Farrish, 29, Steubenville Pike, Salineville, cited with driving under suspension, failure to control, improper/expired registration, use of unauthorized plate and leaving the scene.

Olivia Grace Wagner, 19, Depot Road, Lisbon, was fined $80 and required 10 hours community service for driving under suspension and a seat belt violation.

Miles Chancellor Jenkins, 24, Maple Street, Salem, was fined $50 and required 10 hours community service for driving under suspension.

A Jan. 31 pretrial was set for Randy William Hooper, 34, Salineville Road West, Salineville, cited with driving under a non-compliance suspension

A Feb. 4 pretrial was set for Kevin W. Bleich, 30, Salem-Warren Road, Salem, cited with driving under suspension.

Bryant D. Boyd, 32, Roller Coaster Road, Lisbon, was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from failure to move left for public safety vehicle.

Samantha J. Frampton, 27, East Perry Street, Salem, was fined $100 for driving under suspension.

Chase M. Heston, 31, Newcomerstown, was fined $75 for failure to stop for a stopped school bus.

Josette Hope Theiss, 18, North Union Avenue, Salem, was fined $50 for no license.

Donna M. Diegmiller, 43, Ashtabula, was fined $50 for use on an unauthorized plate.

Stephanie Michelle Stilwell, 29, Sunset Drive, Wellsville, was fined $50 for wrongful entrustment.

Robert J. Milone, 46, Struthers, was fined $30 for driving under suspension and a seat belt violation.

Mackenzie A. Strub, 22, West Washington Street, Lisbon, was fined $50 for no license.
