SHERIFF’S OFFICE

— Deputies were dispatched Friday evening to 8269 Graham Street in Center Township for a group of suspicious males in the area, going door to door, pretending to be from Amazon and delivering packages. The men had fled the area when deputies arrived.

— Marina N. Rouse, East Palestine, reported Friday two tires were slashed on her vehicle while she was eating at a restaurant. The investigation is pending.

— Deputies were dispatched Saturday to a residence on Fife Coal Road in Madison Township for a man possibly intoxicated in need of medical attention. They arrived on the scene with North Star Critical Care ambulance. Deputies later learned that one of the men present, Steven Watters II, had two active warrants and he was taken into custody and transported to the county jail.

— Deputies were asked to investigate an alarm at a home on Woodsend Drive in Butler Township at 9:04 p.m. Friday. Deputies checked the home and found everything to be fine.

— A state Route 344, Fairfield Township, resident reported at 7:57 p.m. Sunday there were threats being made in front of children. It was only requested a report be made.

— A possible domestic dispute was reported at a Millrock Road, Middleton Township, home at 9:30 p.m. Friday. Deputies confronted the three people involved in a physical altercation, which was found to be a family-related issue. No charges were filed by anyone involved.

— A suspicious vehicle was reported on state Route 39 at 10:36 p.m. Saturday. Deputies checked the area, but did not find the vehicle.

— Kandi Lyn Tanner, Smith Road, Middleton Township, reported at 5:57 p.m. Tuesday someone slashed her tires. The matter is being forwarded to the prosecutor’s office.

— Suspicious activity was reported during a custody exchange on Sandy Springs Road in West Township at 8:40 p.m. Friday. The matter is under investigation.

— Timothy Herron, Woodsdale Road, Butler Township, reported at 9:50 p.m. Friday, a possible criminal damaging incident, which is now under investigation.

— A horse was reported in the roadway on Steubenville Pike in Center Township at 2:18 a.m. Sunday. While deputies were en route, a dispatcher told deputies the owner of the horse was on the way.

— Beth Ann Marie Marshall, state Route 45, Elkrun Township, reported a domestic dispute at 1:46 a.m. Sunday. Both Marshall and Anthony Rothacher both signed refusals to prosecute.
