Drug indictments served at jail

LISBON — Secret indictments were served at the county jail on Thursday for Matthew T. Spooner, 30, Wellsville, charged with possession of a fentanyl-related compound, a fifth-degree felony, and Kimberly I. Edie, 26, Salem, charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony.

Spooner is charged with knowingly obtain, possess or use of a fentanyl-related compound on or about Dec. 1, 2018 in Columbiana County.

Edie is charged with knowingly obtain, possess or use of methamphetamine less than the bulk amount on or about Aug. 22, 2018 in Columbiana County.

A secret indictment was also served Friday in Calcutta on Gregory A. Virden Jr., 28, Chester, W.Va., charged with grand theft of a motor vehicle, a fourth-degree felony. Virden allegedly deprived Michael A. DeRose of a 2014 white BMW vehicle without consent on or about Aug. 31, 2018 in Columbiana County.
