SHERIFF’S OFFICE

— Suspicious people in a blue car in the Lisbon McDonald’s parking lot were reported at 1:49 p.m. Wednesday. The people entered the store, bought drinks and asked for an empty bag. They returned to the car, passed something around and threw the bag away in a nearby trash container. Sheriff Ray Stone and Lt. Allan Young pulled into the parking lot, came around the back of the building and saw the vehicle’s back up lights come on. They blocked the vehicle in, identified the people in the vehicle and checked them for warrants without finding any. K-9 Jesy did not detect any drugs around the area of the vehicle and the three people were allowed to leave.

— Someone reported the neighbors shooting guns unsafely in the area of Johnson Road in Madison Township at 3:53 p.m. Saturday. They had stopped at that moment and deputies asked the people filing the complaint to call back again if their neighbors start shooting again.

— A state Route 7, Fairfield Township, reported at 7:36 p.m. Wednesday their neighbor walked a dog on their property. There is reportedly an ongoing civil dispute between them and the resident wanted it on the record.
