LISBON — A June 3 pretrial was set in County Municipal Court for Robert T. Urgitus, 57, Vine Street, East Palestine, cited with contributing to the unruliness of a child and two counts of permitting underage consumption. On Monday Urgitus allegedly provided Paige Morrison, 18, a shot of tequila and a 16-year-old at least five or six shots of tequila, enough to render the younger teenager unresponsive and resulting in transport to the hospital by ambulance.
John Wayne Chaffin, 30, state Route 154, Rogers, was fined $730, credited with a day in jail, sentenced to an additional 14 days in jail, had his license suspended for 180 days and required 40 hours community service for driving under suspension, unauthorized plate, speeding, a seat belt violation, drug paraphernalia for a rolled dollar bill with residue and falsification for having a VIN plate unattached found in a vehicle.
Eric M. Francis, 38, Duquesne Street, Columbiana, was credited with six days served in jail, sentenced to an additional four days in jail, fined $875, had his license suspended for a year and required 40 hours community service for OVI first offense, marked lanes and disorderly conduct for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for reportedly hitting his teenager in the face with a phone after spanking the child on Jan. 7.
A June 18 pretrial was set for Janet Lynn Powell, 59, East North Street, East Palestine, cited with OVI first offense and a turn signal violation.
A July 8 pretrial was set for Bette Newbury, 61, West Pittburg, Pa., charged with OVI first offense and marked lanes.
Brian D. Miller Jr., 36, Almont Street, East Liverpool, was fined $380 and required 30 hours community service for driving under suspension, a tail lights violation, possession of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia for a scale, a pipe and marijuana.
Logan M. Snay, 19, Steubenville Pike, Lisbon, was sentenced to seven days in jail and fined $250 for driving under suspension and failure to yield.
A June 20 pretrial was set for Jacob S. O’Neil, 19, Fairfield School Road, Columbiana, cited with driving under suspension and faulty exhaust.
Sharon F. Kenst-Hawkins, 65, Bethesda Road, Hanoverton, was fined $200 for speeding in a school zone.
Kalier A. King, 18, Akron, was fined $150 and required 20 hours community service for no license.
Devaughn K. Pastore, 26, Millrock Road, New Waterford, was fined $175 and required 30 hours community service for driving under suspension and a headlights violation.
Patricia Ann Boughton, 66, South Union Avenue, Salem, was fined $150 for speeding in a school zone.
Abraham Borntreger, 28, Kinsman, was fined $100 and required 30 hours community service for speeding.
Mark Duffield Jr., 27, Chester Street, East Liverpool, was fined $150 and required 20 hours community service for no license.
Michelle L. Rawan, 50, Bergholz, was fined $125 for driving under suspension and a headlight violation.
Cari R. Heckathorn, 19, Sharp Avenue, Salem, fined $100 for no license.
