LISBON — A May 23 preliminary hearing was set for Brandon M. Huff, 24, Minerva, charged with domestic violence for allegedly pushing his eight-week pregnant girlfriend, Ciara White, and biting here on the shoulder on Thursday.

Justin Smith, 35, East Washington Street, Lisbon, was bound over to the grand jury on charges of OVI fourth offense and driving under OVI suspension. A July 11 pretrial was set for Smith cited with open container.

Michael A. Howell, 41, last known address Alden Avenue, Alliance, was bound over to the grand jury on a charge of failure to comply with a order or signal of police for allegedly fleeing at speeds in excess of 90 mph on East Main Street in New Waterford on May 3.

A May 21 pretrial was set for Marques M. Kimmie, 23, Cleveland, charged with assault for allegedly causing facial injuries to Nathaniel Mango in a cell in the county jail which was captured by video surveillance on May 5.

A May 30 pretrial was set for David J. Soos, 51, Walnut Street, Washingtonville, charged with violating a protection order for calling and texting the victim and her family members beginning May 9 through May 13.

Scott A. Bailey, 49, Jennings Avenue, Salem, was fined $925, had his license suspended for a year, required 30 hours community service and sentenced to 10 days in jail for OVI second offense and failure to control.

Matthew G. Snyder, 39, South Union Avenue, Alliance, was fined $925, had his license suspended for a year, required 30 hours community service and credited with 27 days served in jail for OVI first offense and driving under FRA suspension.

A June 13 pretrial was set for Ramona J. Richoz, 34, Chestnut Street, Leetonia, cited with driving under FRA suspension, a tail lights violation, illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing official business for allegedly giving police the false name of Lisa Holder on May 5. The drug paraphernalia charge is for an alleged methamphetamines pipe allegedly found in her center console on Oct. 4, 2017.

A May 23 pretrial was set for Paige Taggart, 19, Silliman Street, New Waterford, charged with domestic violence for allegedly grabbing her mother, Penny Taggart, by the hair, punching her in the head and neck, as well as hitting her stepsister in the nose area with a Tidy Cats litter container and biting her finger on Thursday.

A May 30 sentencing hearing was set for Cody W. Wishon, 23, New Cumberland, W.Va., charged with criminal trespassing for allegedly entering a residence at the Lantern Square Apartment without permission on Thursday.

Brent N. Cooper, 48, Berlin Center, was fined $130 for driving under suspension and speeding.

Andrew Rowell, 24, West Wilson Street, Salem, was fined $100 and required 10 hours community service for driving under suspension and two headlights required.

David Allen McVay, 61, South Lincoln Avenue, Salem, was fined $100 and required 10 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Charles L. Bickerton, 54, South Linden Avenue, Alliance, was fined $50 for wrongful entrustment.

Donald C. Carlisle, 39, Hilltop Drive, Lisbon, was fined $50 and credited with a day served in jail for disorderly conduct for being intoxicated, refusing to calm down and step back from police investigating an incident on March 4, 2018 in Salem.

Luis Alicea Vazquez, 19, Youngstown, was fined $70 for no license and a tail lights violation.

Michael A. Cochran, 55, Maple Street, Lisbon, was fined $30 for failure to control. A driving under suspension citation was dismissed due to a BMV error.

Robert C. Johnson, 31, Canfield, was fined $30 and required 10 hours community service for speeding and driving under suspension.

A June 11 pretrial was set for Joseph McLaughlin Jr., 37, Columbia Street, Leetonia, charged with a driving under a forfeiture specification.

A June 10 pretrial was set for Sara Christine Noling, 32, Park Avenue, East Palestine, cited with driving under suspension and theft for allegedly taking a cart of items out of the Dollar General in Rogers to her vehicle without paying for them and placing them into her purse.
