Highway Patrol

— Nathan D. Cline, 43, of Paris, was cited for failure to control after going off the road in an Equinox, striking a utility pole and overturning while driving on state Route 172 in Center Township at 12:26 p.m. June 9. Neither Cline nor the passenger in his SUV were injured.

— A pickup truck belonging to Michael Phillis of Lisbon went off the road into a ditch and overturned on Elkton Road in Elkrun Township at 6:54 a.m. June 9. Phillis reported the next day he was out of town but left the truck for two friends to use, Aaron Tucker and Glen Kennedy. Neither showed up to give a statement.

— Darcy Hilton, 33, of Salem, was cited for failure to yield after she ran a stop sign and struck a vehicle operated by Mark Straub, 64, of Hanoverton, at the intersection of state Route 172 and Rochester Road in West Township at 9:43 p.m. Wednesday.

— Lena M. Cataldo, 24, of Lisbon, was cited for improper passing after she struck a truck pulling a flatbed trailer driven by Charles A. Harris, 31, of East Liverpool, at 12:53 p.m. Tuesday in Yellow Creek Township. Harris was turning from state Route 39 onto Oak Ridge Road. He was cited for having non-working brake lights.

— Thomas May Jr., 33, of Lisbon, was cited for failure to control after he went off the road, striking a culvert, mail box and catch basin while driving on state Route 164 in Franklin Township at 5:55 a.m. Wednesday. May said he lost control while swerving to miss a deer. The mail box was on the property of Jammie Dorsey.

— Roy A. Walther, 89, of Sebring, was cited for assured distance after he drove into the rear of the stopped vehicle in front of him driven by Nathan D. Toussant, 26, of Beloit. This occurred on U.S. Route 62 in Butler Township at 12:07 p.m. Tuesday.

— Harold M. Morrison, 70, Kibler Road, New Waterford, was cited for failure to yield after he backed out of his driveway into a Jeep Liberty driven by Dakota Lockard, 21, of East Palestine, at 6:58 p.m. Wednesday.

– Daniel D. Eddinger, 75, of Lisbon, struck a downed tree while driving on state Route 517 in Fairfield Township at 9:27 p.m. Monday.
