LISBON — A June 20 pretrial was set in county Municipal Court for George H. Ostendorf III, 26, James Street, East Palestine, charged with domestic violence for allegedly attempting to harm his live-in girlfriend by striking her in the face and holding her down during an argument on April 23.

Daniel Yoder, 39, Leetonia Road, Leetonia, was credited with 34 days served in jail and fined $100 for assault for attacking Kester Young, repeatedly scratching him in the face on May 3.

A June 17 pretrial was set for Rebecca L. Thompson, 39, Lisbon-Canfield Road, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly hitting, scratching and pulling the hair of Alyssa Woods during an argument in the vehicle on Wednesday.

A June 17 pretrial was set for Alyssa L. Woods, 18, last known address West Martin Street, East Palestine, charged with domestic violence for allegedly hitting her mother, Rebecca Thompson, pinching her and grabbing her throat in a vehicle on Depot Road in Perry Township on Wednesday.

Joshua M. Watkins, 30, Eighth Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $1,180, had his license suspended for a year, credited with five days served, sentenced to an additional 10 days in jail and required 70 hours community service for OVI second offense, driving under suspension and seat belt violation and failure to control

A July 16 pretrial was set for Jeffery A. Dyke, 25, Deerfield, charged with OVI first offense, operating a vehicle without a license, no motorcycle endorsement, left of center, failure to control and improper registration.

Sarah A. Wutrick, 32, Spiedel Road, East Rochester, was credited with a day in jail, sentenced to an additional nine days in jail, required 30 hours community service, had her license suspended for two years and fined $975 for OVI first offense and drug paraphernalia for a plastic container with powder residue.

A July 22 pretrial was set for Pamela S. Risbeck, 43, Trinity Church Road, Lisbon, cited with OVI first offense, failure to control, a seat belt violation and possession of a drug abuse instrument for alleged hypodermic needles on April 5.

David C. Rutter Jr., 29, Globe Street, East Liverpool, was credited with 17 days served, sentenced to 43 additional days, fined $300 and required 40 hours community service for possession of drug instruments and possession of drug paraphernalia for a crack pipe and two syringes on March 29.

Josiah Paul Laughlin, 20, state Route 7, Rogers, was fined $150, credited with eight days in jail, sentenced to an additional 37 days in jail and required 40 hours community service for two counts of theft and criminal damaging. Some of the charges are for taking a stove and refrigerator, putting large holes in the wall and removing the back space from the kitchen wall of an apartment he was evicted from on Sept. 15. Additionally, Laughlin placed items from the Smith Oil candy aisle into his pockets on June 5.

Ramona J. Richoz, 34, last known address Chestnut Street, Leetonia, was fined $300 and credited with 22 days in jail for driving under suspension, a tail lights violation and obstructing official business for giving a Salem police officer the false name of Lisa Holder.

Tashay Cornell, 18, Carrollton, was fined $150 and required 30 hours community service for underage consumption.

A June 17 pretrial was set for Brittany Lynn Ruf, 25, East Clark Street, East Palestine, cited with disorderly conduct for allegedly acting irate and combative toward police, who were trying to get her transported by EMS out of concerns for her health and safety.

Allison M. Shipe, 50, East North Avenue, East Palestine was fined $100, required 20 hours community service and credited with two days in jail for disorderly conduct for yelling insulting and abusive comments at the neighbor and his mother following a dispute involving the neighbor mowing part of Shipe’s lawn on Tuesday.

Roger David Dexter, 19, Carrollton, was fined $150 and required 30 hours community service for underage consumption.

Jordan Paige Prince, 24, Beaverton, Mich., was fined $100 for an equipment violation amended from following too close.

Joseph Ryan Siebert, 38, Steubenville, was fined $100 for speeding.

Valerie J. Dattilio, 29, North Vine Street, Columbiana, was fined $100 for speeding.

Trevor Wintermantel, 18, Sherwood Drive, Wellsville, was fined $100 for an equipment violation amended from a stop sign violation.

Lana Judy, 77, Camp Boulevard, Hanoverton, was fined $50 for speeding. A distracted driving citation was dismissed.

A driving under suspension citation against Elizabeth Dawne Hoffee, 20, Washington Street, Salem, was dismissed after it was learned the suspension was in error.
