MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON — An Aug. 22 preliminary hearing was set in County Municipal Court for two East Liverpool men, who are accused of breaking into the home of a Wellsville man to assault him in the early morning hours of Aug. 9. Layne A. Edge, 23, Sprucevale Road, East Liverpool, is charged with aggravated burglary, while Charles R. Wilke, 23, Reynolds Street, East Liverpool, is charged with both aggravated burglary and assault for allegedly breaking into a Commerce Street, Wellsville, home to assault Malik Pullie, who had been asleep in his bed. The two men reportedly held Pullie down, then both punched and kicked him before he escaped his own home through a side window. Wilke and Edge are being held on $50,000 cash or surety bonds.

An Aug. 22 preliminary hearing was set for Courtney M. Orr, 28, Eric Drive, Lisbon, charged with escape for allegedly slipping out of her leg shackles and running south about 20 feet in front of the courthouse before she was detained on Friday.

An Aug. 29 preliminary hearing was set for Nikera T. Holmes, 21, Loganberry Drive, Wellsville, charged with tampering with evidence for allegedly fleeing from police on Sunday and hiding two bags containing a white rock substance and some green leafy matter near two cinder blocks.

An Aug. 26 preliminary hearing was set for Kyle R. Blattert, 35, West Seventh Street, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly grabbing Holly Frick by both arms and pushing her to the ground on Friday.

An Oct. 10 pretrial was set for Brandon M. Shaffer, 23, Metz Road, Columbiana, cited with OVI second offense, driving under FRA suspension, traffic control devices, a turn signals violation, driving while texting and marked lanes.

An Aug. 26 pretrial was set for William R. Hissom, 49, Clarkson Road, Rogers, cited with OVI second offense and domestic violence for allegedly assaulting his mother on Aug. 18.

Ashlei R. Conkle, 24, Fink Road, Kensington, was fined $825, sentenced to 10 days in jail, had her license suspended for a year and required 30 hours community service for OVI first offense, loud exhaust and drug paraphernalia. A second drug paraphernalia charge was dismissed.

An Oct. 17 pretrial was set for Roger W. Williams Jr., 65, Depot Road, Salem, cited with OVI first offense and parking on the highway.

Jonathan R. Keyes, 30, 18th Street Heights, Wellsville, was fined $725, had his license suspended for a year, required a three-day counseling program and ordered 40 hours community service for OVI first offense and expired registration.

Raymond J. Curtis, 53, Michigan Boulevard, Salem, was fined $400, had his license suspended for a year, required to attend a three-day counseling program and ordered 40 hours community service for left of center and reckless operation amended from OVI first offense.

A Sept. 23 pretrial was set for Kimberly A. Heck, 51, Sharpe Street, Salem, cited with driving under OVI suspension.

A Sept. 26 pretrial was set for Ann E. Sevenich, 60, Metz Road, Columbiana, cited with OVI, improper registration and a traffic control device violation.

An Oct. 15 pretrial was set for Ernest John Smith, 49, Votaw Boulevard, Lisbon, cited with OVI second offense, OVI refusal with prior within 20 years, prohibited U turn and a turn signals violation.

An Aug. 29 pretrial was set for Travis L. Weese, 44, Walnut Street, Rogers, cited with aggravated menacing for allegedly pointing a firearm at a child under a railroad tressel in Rogers on Sunday.

An Aug. 29 pretrial was set for Matthew J. Jerome, 33, Park Avenue, East Palestine, charged with assault and resisting arrest. On Sunday Jerome allegedly threw two potted plants at his ex-girlfriend and then caused police to forcibly drag him to the police cruiser when he refused to go. Jerome has another pretrial scheduled that day for a domestic violence charge for allegedly choking and ripping out the hair of his live-in girlfriend, Tonya Tavern on Aug. 1.

Jarell A. Washington, 30, Youngstown, was fined $460 for two counts of driving under suspension and one count each of speeding and a license plate light.

An Aug. 22 pretrial was set for Brandon M. Hill, Haiti Road, Salineville, charged with violating a temporary protection order for allegedly being on the porch yelling at his wife, Kayla Hill, who has a protection order against him.

An Aug. 26 pretrial was set for Daniel L. Crow Sr., 42, First Street, Wellsville, charged with domestic violence for allegedly punching and smacking his 13-year-old son, including hitting him against the wall on July 31.

George H. Ostendorf III, 26, James Street, East Palestine, was credited with a day in jail, required 40 hours community service and fined $150 for disorderly conduct for striking Summer Jeffries in her face on April 23.

Kayla M. Marcum, 26, North Madison Avenue, Salem, was fined $150 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension.

William Blake Royal, 22, West Middletown Road, Salem, was fined $200 and had his license suspended for 180 days for possession of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia.

Marjorie M. Powell, 82, St. Cloud, Fla., was fined $100 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.

A Sept. 30 pretrial was set for Maverick J. Conners, 19, Salem-Alliance Road, Salem, cited with underage consumption.

Damien M. Cronin, 21, Fink Road, Kensington, was fined $100 for driving under suspension.

An Oct. 3 pretrial was set for Craig M. Cross, 36, Depot Road, Salem, charged with two counts of driving under suspension and one count each of loud exhaust and criminal damaging for allegedly breaking a windshield during a fight in Salem on April 8.

Anthony M. Simmons, 51, Campbell, was fined $150 and required 10 hours community service for driving under suspension.

A Sept. 30 pretrial was set for Lucas J. Brown, 20, West Pine Lake Road, Salem, cited with underage consumption.

Brandie N. Poynter, 25, West Fourth Street, Salem, was fined $50 for disorderly conduct for her part in a fight on Saturday.

Jack Veon Jr., 40, Quincy Avenue, Columbiana, was fined $25 for allowing a dog to run at large.

Charles T. Butler, 56, Gaston Place, East Liverpool, was fined $175 and required 10 hours community service from driving under suspension and a turn signals violation.
