MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON — Both Charles R. Wilke, 24, Reynolds Street, East Liverpool, and Layne A. Edge, 23, Sprucevale Road, East Liverpool, were bound over to the grand jury on charges of aggravated burglary and assault after county Municipal Court Judge Timothy McNicol found probable cause during preliminary hearings on Thursday. Both men had their $50,000 cash or surety bond continued.

The men are accused of breaking into the Commerce Street, Wellsville home of Malik Pullie, in the early morning hours of Aug. 9. Pullie, who had been asleep in his bed, reportedly was held down and then both punched and kicked before he escaped his own home through a side window.

Courtney M. Orr, 28, Eric Drive, Lisbon, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over on an escape charge. Orr was charged with escape for allegedly slipping out of her leg shackles and running south about 20 feet in front of the courthouse before she was detained on Friday. Orr’s bond was set at $5,000 cash or surety.

A Sept. 30 pretrial was set for Randy Paul Witherow, 51, Hanover Road, Salineville, charged with OVI third offense, driving under OVI suspension and parking on the highway.

Ronald F. Graves Jr., 58, Cleveland, was fined $775, had his license suspended for two years, required to attend a three-day counseling program and ordered 50 hours community service for OVI first offense and failure to move left for a public safety vehicle.

An Oct. 8 pretrial was set for Louis M. Ehlenbach, 39, Vale Street, East Liverpool, cited with OVI first offense and failure to display a valid sticker.

An Aug. 29 pretrial was set for Ronald W. Desanzo, 39, North Market Street, East Palestine, charged with domestic violence for allegedly telling his ex-wife he would kill her and her sons on Wednesday.

Bobbi S. Crookston, 30, Goshen Road, Salem, was fined $150, required 50 hours community service, credited with 19 days in jail and sentenced to an additional 16 days for domestic violence for striking her boyfriend Daniel J. Glista in the face on Aug. 3.

A Sept. 5 pretrial was set for Scott M. Graves, 38, Carbon Hill Road, East Palestine, charged with domestic violence and criminal damaging for allegedly punching the window of Amanda Gunnoe’s vehicle on Wednesday, as well as punching her in the face.

An Oct. 15 pretrial was set for Brandan N. Adams, 19, state Route 558, New Waterford, charged with theft for allegedly taking a phone from inside the New Waterford Food Mart on Tuesday.

A Sept. 3 pretrial was set for Cody E. Bratt, 25, Apple Street, Salem, charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct for allegedly causing problems in the Dollar General and then walking across to the South Lincoln Avenue Circle K in Perry Township, where he reportedly pulled away from police refusing to cooperate with them while he was arrested on Wednesday.

Jason Kelly Thompson Jr., 20, Palissey Street, East Liverpool, was fined $300 for two counts of driving under suspension. A speeding citation was dismissed.

William B. Royal, 22, West Middletown Road, Salem, was fined $150, credited with two days in jail and required 40 hours community service for theft for shoplifting $73 in merchandise from the Salem Walmart on June 28.

Jarret D. Best, 21, North Elm Street, Columbiana, was fined $75 for driving under suspension.

An Oct. 8 pretrial was set for Cambra I. Kauffman, 20, Sherman Street, Lisbon, cited with possession of marijuana.

Benjamin Shook, 23, Johnston, was fined $200 and credited with a day in jail for disorderly conduct for public intoxication with open containers on Wednesday.

Brandon M. Hill, 31, Haiti Road, Salineville, was credited with three days in jail and sentenced to an additional 17 days in jail for violating a temporary protection order for being on the porch of Kayla Hill, yelling at her on Aug. 18.

A Sept. 30 pretrial was set for Nicole Michelle Hilton, 49, East Lincoln Way, Lisbon, charged with criminal trespassing for allegedly being in the apartment of Travis Wallace without his permission on Aug. 17.

Skylar Morton, 23, Creek Road, New Waterford, was fined $150 and required 30 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Ronald E. Ream Jr., 49, Lincoln Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $100 for possession of marijuana.

A Sept. 26 pretrial was set for Sara E. Armstead, 33, Lincoln Street, Salineville, cited with driving under FRA suspension, driving under suspension, expired license and speeding.

Eric T. Flugan, 45, West Chestnut Street, Lisbon, was fined $75 for high weeds.

An Oct. 3 pretrial was set for Dakota Ray Robinson, 19, Pine Hollow Road, Rogers, cited driving under suspension.
