— Daniel F. Kloos, 47, of Salem, and Dean G. Varner, 72, of Lisbon, were the drivers in a two-vehicle accident that occurred at the intersection of state Route 14 and Lisbon Road in Green Township at 6 p.m. Monday. Kloos was turning left left when his BMW and Varner’s Silverado struck as Varner inched his way forward to get a better view of the intersection.

–Logan M. Snay, 19, of Lisbon, was cited for OVI, failure to control and driving under suspension after driving off the right side of the road in a Sante Fe and overturning while traveling on state Route 172 in Center Township at 1:17 a.m. Aug. 30. Snay was not at the scene but the trooper found him staggering along U.S. Route 30.

–Timothy P. Arnold, 61, of Belmont, struck a deer while driving his motorcycle on U.S. Route 30 in West Township at 5:33 a.m. Aug. 28. Arnold was not injured.

–Abby L. Willis, 25, of Salineville, was cited for failure to control, distracted driving and a seat belt violation after she went off the left side of the road and her Malibu overturned while traveling on state Route 39 in Wayne Township at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 30. Willis was taken by ambulance to a local hospital with suspected minor injuries. She admitted to reaching for her purse in the backseat when the accident occurred.

–Rick C. Dattilio, 58, of Columbiana, struck a fox while driving on U.S. Route 30 in Liverpool Township at 2:35 a.m. Sunday.

–Donald E. Martin, 72, of Columbiana, was cited for failure to yield after his Tracker struck a F-250 driven by Nathaniel Haynie, 37, of Columbiana, at the intersection of state Route 517 and Fairfield School Road at 7:45 a.m. Aug. 30. The resulting collision cause Haynie’s pickup to roll over.
