HIGHWAY PATROL

–A cement truck driven by Charles M. Ash, 49, of Lisbon, swerved back and forth across the road before going off the road, overturning and striking a tree on U.S. Route 30 in Hanover Township at 2 p.m. Sept. 3. Ash, who was cited for failure to control, was taken to a local hospital with suspected minor injuries. He was wearing a seat belt at the time.

–Michael L. Giordano, 62, of Canton, was cited for failure to yield from a stop sign after the Malibu he was driving struck a Dodge Ram driven by Lawrence B. Herstine, 56, of Weirton, W.Va., at the intersection of state Route 172 and Depot Road in Center Township at 7:24 p.m. Saturday.

–Lissette M. Wayt, 41, of Salem, was cited for failure to yield after the Enclave she was driving struck a Focus driven by Ashley R. Herderick, 30, of Sebring, as Wayt pulled from a driveway onto U.S. Route 62 in Knox Township at 4:56 p.m. Thursday.
