— The former tenant of a Cambridge Square complex apartment on South Lincoln Avenue, Salem, told deputies on Friday morning she had previously left the keys inside the apartment when she left. The manager was supposed to get the keys later. However, when she and another tenant returned to get their property and the manager let them inside, some of their items — two TVs, a duffel bag of clothes, a microwave and a coffee pot — were missing. The manager told deputies he did not know anything about it.

— A Perry Grange Road, Salem Township, man reported at 10:24 a.m. Thursday someone contacted him on Facebook claiming to be a friend, then started a scam attempting to convince him to pay a fee in order to claim money. Deputies explained scammers gather information from people’s profiles and he should monitor his credit score.

— A dispute was reported at 2:19 p.m. Wednesday at a home on Metz Road, Unity Township. The property owner and two others living there were all moving out of the home, but the property owner’s daughter told them they are not removing anything from the property. Deputies spoke to the daughter, who said she had no problem with the couple leaving and taking their stuff, but she had some issues with her mother going with her. Deputies explained that if her mother was leaving voluntarily, she had no say in the matter.

— The grandmother of an Adams Road, Middleton Township, woman reported at 1:23 p.m. Thursday, her granddaughter had been in a domestic dispute. Deputies found the young woman, holding her 3-month-old baby in the yard near the driveway, after the baby’s father reportedly struck her across the face when she was holding the child. Zachery Humphreys, 26, said he just wanted to leave, but he had no one to come and get him. He was charged with domestic violence.

— A state Route 9, Hanover Township, resident reported at 12:38 p.m. Thursday someone called him claiming to be from the DEA and that a vehicle registered to him had been stopped in Texas with drugs found inside. The caller asked for his Social Security number, date of birth and the name of his bank, threatening he would be arrested. The Hanover Township man gave the requested information, but believes it was a scam. Deputies told him to contact his bank and report it to them.

— An abandoned vehicle was reported on Main Street in Homeworth at 5:37 p.m. Wednesday. The owner of the vehicle was found and the vehicle was moved.

— A Parkview Drive, Yellow Creek Township resident, reported a problem in the neighborhood at 7:14 p.m. Thursday. The area was checked and everything appeared to be fine.

— Suspicious activity was reported in the area of the old Madison Township garage at 9:43 p.m. Thursday. The area was checked, but nothing suspicious was found.

— A state Route 9, Hanover Township, woman reported at 11:47 a.m. Thursday she clicked on an email regarding earning money for advertising a product by getting her vehicle wrapped with the advertisement. She provided them with her name, address and phone number. Within a few days she received a check for $2,745 and advised through an e-mail to sent $1,000 through Zelle, a digital payment system, and keep $600 from the check. She complied and was waiting for the company to tell her what to do with the remainder of the money when she learned the check had not cleared.

–Someone was reported screaming in the area of Depot Road in Center Township at 9:43 p.m. Wednesday. Deputies found a woman in the area, who said she had argued with her boyfriend, but everything was fine.

— Someone driving on Buck Road, Knox Township, reported another person was cutting grass and blowing it into the roadway, causing something to strike their vehicle as they drove past. Deputies found a man cutting the right of way along the side of Buck Road. He said he cuts it because the township does not keep it cut down. He was told not to blow the grass onto the roadway.

— Deputies checked a business on state Route 7, New Waterford, after an alarm sounded at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. There was no signs of vandalism or forced entry.
