LISBON — A Dec. 3 pretrial was set in county Municipal Court for Erin O. Hiles, 50, Gromley Road, Salem, charged with OVI second offense, OVI refusal second offense, driving under FRA suspension, failure to comply and obstructing official business. Hiles is accused of refusing to stop her vehicle on South Ellsworth Avenue on Tuesday, refusing to get out of the vehicle after she did stop and attempting to restart the vehicle.
David M. Birch, 55, Failor Road, East Palestine, was fined $925, sentenced to 15 days in jail, had his license suspended for a year and required 30 hours community service for OVI second offense and a headlights violation.
Zachery J. Strub, 25, Irish Ridge Road, East Liverpool, was fined $150 and ordered to pay $103 in restitution to the county jail for criminal damaging after he pushed over a cart holding 73 trays of food.
A Dec. 2 pretrial was set for Brian D. Klingensmith, 26, Prospect Street, Salem, cited with OVI first offense and lighted lights.
A Dec. 23 pretrial was set for John F. Padurean, 63, Adams Road, Lisbon, cited with OVI first offense and left of center.
A Dec. 17 pretrial was set for Christopher D. Conrad, 25, Apple Street, Salem, cited with OVI first offense and reasonable control.
A Nov. 19 pretrial was set for Joshua C. Kersey, 37, Sixth Street, Wellsville, charged with assault for allegedly striking Charles Rhoads in the face several times on Monday while both were inmates in the county jail.
A Dec. 23 pretrial was set for Kerri E. Steffel, 31, Barclay Avenue, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly bloodying her boyfriend, John Seddon’s nose on Tuesday.
A Nov. 19 pretrial was set for Charles W. Rhoads, 25, East Fifth Street, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly head butting and biting Mercy Waller on Oct. 30.
Daniel D. McNicol, 25, Shadylane Drive, East Liverpool, was fined $200 and required 40 hours community service for driving under suspension and a registration violation.
Travis A. Swinehart, 25, state Route 164, Leetonia, was fined $100 for speeding in a school zone.
A menacing charge against Jodi M. Staley, 52, Magnolia, was dismissed due to similar charges already being filed and addressed in Stark County.
