LISBON — In Common Pleas Court, Darian M. Libert, 21, North Beaver Street, Lisbon, stipulated to probable cause that he violated the terms of his community control on convictions of breaking and entering and theft. Libert has now been sentenced to a year in prison. The charges stemmed from Sept. 19, 2017, when Libert entered the garage at Chad Bickel’s property on Steubenville Pike, Lisbon, and took a 2003 Suzuki Z 400 four-wheeler.

Wendi R. Hunley, 43, was placed on three years community control for illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility and illegal assembly or possession of the chemicals for the manufacture of drugs. One charge was for attempting to bring narcotics to her boyfriend, Christopher Bowersock, who was incarcerated in the county jail on June 22, 2018, when orange film strips and orange tablets containing buprenorphine were found inside a bottle of contact lens solution, Clear Care Plus. The second charge was for having the chemicals to make methamphetamines on Dec. 1, 2018, when she and Bowersock were found with a backpack containing several meth chemicals and other equipment while at the Columbiana Laundromat.
