SHERIFF’S OFFICE

— Deputies were asked at 12:59 a.m. Monday to check at a state Route 45, Madison Township, home to check on a woman who had walked away from a local emergency room against medical advice.

— A Roller Coaster Road, Elkrun Township, woman reported at 12:04 p.m. Tuesday someone broke into her garage and stole her ex-father-in-law’s torch set, which included torches, a cart and air tanks. This is believed to have happened sometime around Christmas.

— A woman reported she was speaking with a Quay Road, Middleton Township, man on the phone at 7:31 a.m. Wednesday and he was in an argument with a woman who was there and hitting him. Deputies awoke the residents when they knocked on the door and spoke to the man’s father, who said his son was still in bed and he had not heard any arguing or assault that morning. The son woke up and claimed the woman who called deputies is stalking him. He claims she has hacked into four of his five Facebook accounts, calling and texting him day and night. He forwarded some of the texts, which appeared to be from an upset ex-girlfriend, to deputies and deputies gave him information about getting a restraining order.
