— A West Egypt Road, West Township, woman reported at 3:26 p.m. Wednesday someone had used her bank card without her permission and charged $101 to her account.
— An inmate at the county jail reported at 8:06 a.m. Sunday he asked other inmates to help him write letters to friends because he cannot read or write. A deputy read the letter sent home from him and the inmate said that was not what he told the other inmates to write. Deputies suggested he ask a corrections officer for help in the future because the letters sent out were disrespectful in nature. He felt the other inmates were just having fun at his expense and did not want anyone to investigate it.
— A Clarks Mill Road, Washington Township, mother reported at 3:29 p.m. Wednesday her daughter was being harassed by another child on social media. A deputy spoke to the mother of the other child and the parents agreed to handle the situation between them.
— A state Route 7, Madison Township, man reported at 9:40 p.m. Monday he has a court order not to contact this woman, but the woman keeps contacting him and his family. The deputy told him to send the woman one message, which said he had contacted the sheriff’s office to file telecommunication harassment and if she contacts him again he will file charges against her. Additionally, the deputy told him to keep the message as proof for prosecution.
— A burnt out vehicle was reported on Glasgow Road at 6:59 a.m. Friday. It appeared the vehicle came from the driveway across the street. Deputies spoke to a man, who said he was visiting friends and as he left the home the night before in the rain, he missed the turn to go west on Glasgow Road, struck a tree and the vehicle caught on fire. He only has liability insurance on the vehicle.
— Deputies responded to North Pleasant Drive in Unity Township, where a man was having medical issues and staying with his mother at 6:19 p.m. Tuesday. When deputies arrived there were several family members there.
