Salem
— A suspicious vehicle was reported at 4:16 p.m. Saturday in the 600 block of South Ellsworth. Upon contact, they stated that they were just watching the trains.
— Loud music complaints were received at 9:39 p.m. Friday and at 8:53 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of East 4th Street.
— A woman had a seizure in the roadway at 9:45 p.m. Saturday in the area of Broadway and Third. She refused medical treatment.
— An officer responded at 9:11 p.m. Saturday to the 1300 block of South Lincoln Avenue to a report of the odor of marijuana. The property’s occupants were able to provide valid medical marijuana cards.
— Three females observed pushing lawn mowers and seeking yards to mow were informed at 2:33 p.m. Saturday in the area of Rose Avenue and Third Street that they needed to obtain a permit to solicit jobs.
— A vehicle was reportedly broken into at 6:39 p.m. Saturday in the 600 block of East 8th Street overnight.
— A resident of the 300 block of South Ellsworth reported at 11:32 p.m. Friday that two young males attempted to enter into his garage but he scared them off.
— Police responded to a report of a dispute between three subjects at 11:09 p.m. Friday in the 800 block of East 5th Street. One of the subjects had a bat, which was seized when officers conducted a traffic stop.
— K9 Simon was mobilized for drug detection at a traffic stop at 6:11 p.m. Friday in the 100 block of North Broadway Street. Although he alerted, none were found.
— No citations were issued at 12:39 p.m. Friday in a two-vehicle crash involving Darla Schulth and Albert Klebchar near East 3rd Street and North Lincoln Avenue.
