Columbiana man admits violating terms of community control

LISBON — James A. Nulf, 47, South Middle Street, Columbiana, stipulated in Common Pleas Court to violating the terms of his community control, which was dishonorably terminated. Nulf was sentenced to serve 60 days in the county jail for the possession of drugs charge for cocaine in a rolled up dollar bill on Dec. 27, 2015 when he was involved in a traffic crash on state Route 558 in Unity Township.

Hope M. Steed, 22, Valley Road, Salem, pleaded guilty to three counts of aggravated possession of drugs for having methamphetamine and two substituted cathinone substances on Aug. 24, 2018. She faces up to five years in prison, a $15,000 fine and a license suspension of up to five years. Sentencing is set for Sept. 28.
