LISBON — A July 23 preliminary hearing was set in county Municipal Court for Bethany R. Devine, 28, Fair Avenue, Salem, charged with complicity to theft for allegedly serving as a look out while Timothy Thompson took plates from a vehicle on July 2.
A July 20 preliminary hearing was set for Brandon A. Hoschar, 25, West Perry Street, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly assaulting Jamie L Allen in their apartment by choking her, hitting her in the head and knocking her out. She awoke on the floor on Thursday.

Steven J. Carmen, 25, Y and O Road, Wellsville, signed a waiver of extradition so he can be returned to the state of West Virginia where he is charged with two counts of child abuse resulting in bodily injury.

A Sept. 10 pretrial was set for James R. Burgess, 51, East Chestnut Street, Lisbon, cited with OVI first offense and failure to control.
A Sept. 10 pretrial was set for Malissa Moore, 46, Dunn Road, East Liverpool, charged with assault for allegedly hitting Skyla N. Bredeck in the parking lot of Extreme Trucking, Osbourne Road, Wellsville, on Tuesday.
An Aug. 4 sentencing hearing was set for Joseph Swabey, 45, East Washington Street, Lisbon, charged with domestic violence for allegedly striking his teenage son in the face during an argument. Swabey pleaded guilty to the charge and was ordered to have no contact with the 17-year-old.
A July 16 pretrial was set for Nicole Polley, 31, East Main Street, Washingtonville, charged with domestic violence for allegedly throwing a pop can at Corey M. Haueter, striking him in the face during an argument on Wednesday.

A July 17 pretrial was set for Haueter, who is also cited with driving under suspension.
A July 13 arraignment was set for Joah T. Leffler, 36, Sherwood Road, Wellsville, charged with assault for allegedly hitting Durell Beauford, as well as, gouging his eyes and grabbing his face on Thursday during an argument between them at the county jail.
An Aug. 4 pretrial was set for Robert H. Spaulding, 29, Georgetown Road, Salem, cited with obstructing official business for allegedly lying about his identity to a Perry Township officer, claiming to be a “friend of Robert Spaulding” and offering to relay a message to him.
Ashley R. Carlariello, 27, West Wilson Street, Salem, was fined $150, credited with eight days served in jail and released into the custody of Valor Recovery Center in Youngstown for possession of drug abuse instrument. Carlariello had a syringe on the passenger seat of a vehicle, where she was sitting on July 1.
An Aug. 25 pretrial was set for Daniel C. Mikol, 20, West Pine Lake Road, Salem, cited with street racing.
An Aug. 18 pretrial was set for Herbert H. Beehler, 71, West Pine Lake Road, Salem, cited with two counts of street racing, one from April and another from June.
Merle C. Schreffler, 44, Fairway Road, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for driving under suspension and failure to have functioning brake lights.
David Oesch Jr., 28, West Taggart Street, East Palestine, was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from passing within 100 feet of an intersection. A no passing zone offense was dismissed.
