LISBON — An East Liverpool man was sent to the Columbiana County Jail for violating his probation on a 2017 theft charge.
Christopher D. Price, 27, of Purinton Avenue, was sentenced to 30 days in the jail by county Common Pleas Court Judge Scott Washam after found to have violated his probation. Price was placed on probation after pleading guilty to stealing $1,251 worth of DeWalt tools and batteries from JWB Supply of Lisbon in May 2017.
In other court action, Noah P. Barrett, 35, of Jackonsville, was sentenced to three years’ probation/treatment after pleading guilty to one count of an aggravated possession of an illegal drug. Barrett was found in possession of meth in August 2018.
Patrick J. Scafide, 30, Thompson Avenue, East Liverpool, was sentenced by Judge Megan Bickerton to four years’ treatment/probation after pleading guilty to two counts of aggravated drug possession. Scafide was found in possession of meth and oxycondone in May 2019.
Rose M. Wade, 36, Hazel Run Road, Salineville, was sentenced by Judge Bickerton to 30 days in the county jail for violating her probation on multiple drug charges from 2015.
Travis A. Swinehart, 26, state Route 164, Leetonia, was sentenced by Judge Bickerton to four years’ probation/treatment after pleading guilty as charged to possessing of a controlled substance analog, two counts of possession of a fentanyl compound, heroin possesion, possession of a controlled substance analog, and two counts of drug possession. The crimes occurred in July 2019.
Amy L. Desimone, 49, Alpha Street, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty as charged to cocaine possesion a charge from 2018. She is scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 2.
