MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – In county Municipal Court, Jacob C. Wallace, 27, Nassau Road Northeast, Kensington, was bound over to the grand jury on charges of OVI-felony and driving under suspension. Following a traffic accident where Wallace’s car overturned, a trooper found open containers of Busch Light beer in the trunk. Wallace has three prior convictions of OVI within the past 10 years.

Timothy J. Johnson, 39, Roller Coaster Road, Lisbon, was bound over to the grand jury on charges of carrying a concealed weapon and vandalism. Deputies were serving an arrest warrant on Johnson, and when they placed him in the patrol car, he kicked the side of the rear passenger door, damaging and bending the door frame of the window. A deputy also located a semi-automatic handgun, three loaded magazines and several other nine-millimeter rounds in the vehicle.

Linda M. McKinnon, 27, Wilbert Avenue, East Liverpool, was sentenced to 30 days in jail, credited with eight days, fined $150 and ordered 40 hours of community service for possession of drug paraphernalia.

James E. Melvin, 64, Carmel Achor Road, Rogers, was sentenced to 30 days in jail, fined $150 and ordered 30 hours of community service for menacing. Melvin threatened to assault Michael Carney.

A Sept. 29 pretrial was set for Sarah L. Davis, 36, Goshen Road, Salem, charged with OVI second offense, OVI second offense breath .17 gram and improper backing.

A Sept. 24 pretrial was set for Chloe Sorgman, 19, Black Road, Lisbon, charged with OVI first offense and speeding.

A Sept. 29 pretrial was set for Michelle L. Shingleton, 31, Ohio Avenue, Salem, charged with theft. Shingleton allegedly stole items from Walmart through the self-checkout.

Courtnie J. Coleman, 30, Wilbert Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $250 for carrying weapons while intoxicated.

An Aug. 17 pretrial was set for Shane M. Meade, 41, Ridge Street, Leetonia, charged with persistent disorderly conduct.

A Sept. 28 pretrial was set for Daniel E. Riggs, 43, West Main Street, Salineville, charged with an open container in public.

An Aug. 20 pretrial was set for Shaun M. Uscianowski, Unity Road, New Springfield, charged with illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

Levi V. Athey, 18, SR46, New Waterford, was sentenced to 30 days in jail, fined $350 and ordered 40 hours of community service for failure to control, use of unauthorized plates and failure to report.
