LISBON–Donald Larabee, 35, Pinewood Drive, New Waterford, was one of five people served with secret indictments so far this week, indictments which were issued by the Columbiana County Common Pleas Court grand jury last week. Larabee is charged with two counts of gross sexual imposition for allegedly having sexual contact with a child who turned 9-years-old during the time of the abuse, between June 1, 2016 and Sept. 1, 2016.
Beth Ann Hays, 29, Prospect Street, Salem, is charged with obstructing official business and falsification. On Oct. 13, Hays allegedly assisted Joseph Messenger, while hindering the efforts of law enforcement from doing their job, including lying to mislead them.
Clifford W. Heath, 45, Purinton Avenue, East Liverpool, is charged with two counts of workers’ compensation fraud for allegedly obtaining benefits he was not entitled to receive between March 17, 2019 and March 31, 2020. Heath is accused of taking at least $7,500, but less than $150,000. Both charges are fourth-degree felonies.
Destyne D. Carner, 31, Chardon, is charged with aggravated possession of drugs and possession of drugs for allegedly having oxycodone and alprazolam on July 12.
Kirk D. Leander, 38, New Franklin, is charged with aggravated possession of drugs for allegedly having methamphetamines on Dec. 19.
