LISBON — In county Municipal Court, William J. Tyson, 41, East Taggart Street, East Palestine, was sentenced to 180 days in jail, fined $150 and ordered 40 hours of community service for theft. Tyson grabbed four shirts from the Dollar General and attempted to return them without paying for them.
Michael T. Lantz, 35, Summit Street, Salem, was sentenced to 180 days in jail, fined $150 and ordered 40 hours of community service for domestic violence. Lantz choked his girlfriend following a verbal argument.
A Nov. 3 pretrial was set for Diego B. Gonzalez, 31, Pioneer Road, Negley, charged with possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension.
A Nov. 9 pretrial was set for Linda L. Krohn, 41, New Waterford, charged with theft. Krohn admitted to continuously scanning a $0.50 tag for 14 items totaling $124.85.
Jason S. Ramsey, 18, Walnut Ridge, Salineville, was fined $290 for reckless operation, expired license, stop sign violation, turn signal violation and headlights violation.
Andrew D. Steves, 37, Plymouth Place, Salem, was fined $100 for disorderly conduct, amended from violation of a protection order.
Michael A. Wrightson, 27, East Park Avenue, Columbiana, was fined $100 and had his license suspended for 180 days for possession of marijuana.
A Nov. 19 pretrial was set for James W. Tauchar, 70, South Bayshore Drive, Columbiana, charged with OVI second offense and driving left of center.
