— Holly L. Miller, 30, Tomahawk Drive, Negley, reported someone in a small SUV ran the stop sign and struck her SUV before fleeing. This occurred at the intersection of Dyke and Union Ridge roads in Middleton Township at 7:14 p.m. Friday.
— Kathryn Proctor, 30, Homeworth Road, Alliance, went off the right side of the road and struck a pole at the intersection of U.S. Route 62 and Homeworth Road at 9 p.m. Thursday. Proctor was cited for OVI, a turning violation and having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. She is also facing a possible charge of mishandling a firearm in a motor vehicle — a loaded 9 mm handgun. Proctor was lying on the ground when the first people arrived on scene and she was taken to a local hospital with possible injuries.
— Ronald L. Sowers, 70, Prospect Street, Salem, was cited for failure to control after he went off the left side of the road and struck two mailboxes while driving on state Route 45 near Miller Road in Center Township at 12:39 p.m. Sept. 1. Sowers told the trooper he fell asleep at the wheel.
