SALEM

— A dispute over playground equipment was reported at 5:3 3 p.m. Saturday in the Waterworth Park.

— Stray chickens wre reportedly running the street at 5:57 p.m. Saturday in the 800 block of 3rd Street. There had been five, but a vehicle came by and retrieved four of them. The one remaining was taken to a rescue farm.

-A disposal of dead cat was needed at 6:44 a.m. Saturday after one was found in the 600 block of Franklin Avenue, and its owner could not found.

— A suspicious vehicle was reported at 7:03 p.m. Saturday on Bentley Drive; however, it turned out to be a deer hunter, who had permission.

— Police responded at 8:33 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of South Lincoln Avenue to a female kicking the door of a residence.

— A 911 hangup was reported at 4:02 a.m. Sunday in the 900 bolock of Franklin Avenue from a man in midst of a panic attack. He was transmitted to Salem Regional Medical Center.

— A landlord-tenant dispute was reported at 9:54 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of North Ellsworth Avenue.

— A suspicious person was reported at 3:47 p.m. Friday in the 500 block of East State Street, trying to sell an item. After getting nervous, he left.

— A suspicious person was reported at 10:40 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of Madison Avenue, possibly entering vehicles.

— An individual was soliciting without the proper paperwork at 3:47 p.m. Friday in the 800 block of East 4th Street.
