— Police responded at 11:02 p.m. Saturday to the 1700 block of Harrison Avenue for a noise complaint from a party with several vehicles in the street. Officers heard no noise and did not see any vehicles on the road.
— An unwanted male was reported at 5:57 p.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of Prospect Street. After officers spoke with both parties, the male was removed.
— Bruce Shonk, 38, of Alliance, was taken into custody on multiple warrants out of Marlboro Township after a traffic stop at 4:14 p.m. Saturday on U.S. Route 62 at Ohio Boulevard. He was turned over to Marlboro Township police.
— A woman on Grant Avenue reported at 1:13 p.m. Saturday that she allowed a female to use her vehicle and she had not returned it. Officers got in touch with the female and told her to return the vehicle or she could face criminal charges. She said she could get the vehicle back to the woman on Saturday and the woman said that was fine.
— Police responded at 12:06 p.m. Saturday to the 1700 block of South Lincoln Avenue where a man said his neighbor was playing music and shooting his shotgun into the creek and he wanted officers to be aware. Officers told him the neighbor wasn’t doing anything illegal.
— A resident in the 1100 block of Liberty Street reported at 8:26 a.m. Saturday that a Trump yard sign was taken from her yard.
— Police were called at 12:13 a.m. Saturday to the 1200 block of Depot Road where a resident said three or four juveniles were on his and his neighbor’s properties. He saw juveniles on his security cameras so he went to check it out. A cooler filled with beer was found and confiscated by police, who disposed of it. Neighbors didn’t hear or see anything. A group of juveniles was seen from a distance, but police lost sight of them and didn’t find them.
— Robert Plegge, 66, of Salem, was taken into custody on a warrant out of Columbiana County in the 1100 block of Beechwood Road at 4:44 p.m. Friday and taken to jail.
