— Firefighters were called at 3:59 a.m. Sunday to the 1000 block of South Broadway for a report of a traction motor on a railroad locomotive on fire. The fire was under control before firefighters arrived, with railroad personnel found investigating the fire. They saw the fire and stopped the engine and were able to extinguish the fire with a dry chemical fire extinguisher. Police had also been called to the scene.
