— A Knox Township woman reported she received a voicemail on her phone from someone claiming to be Victor from a company named either V Sync or D Sync. The message was in regards to a small business loan and she called back to explain she did not apply for a loan. The man named Victor claimed she had applied for a $64,000 loan using her Social Security number. She asked for the manager of the company to call her back. The next day she called the number back and it went to the voicemail of a woman named Kathy L. She did not hear from them again and she did not notice any problems with her bank accounts. Deputies suggested she contact the Social Security office and the three major credit bureaus.
— A domestic dispute was reported at a state Route 45, Lisbon, home at 8:17 p.m. Wednesday. It was an argument that had escalated, but both people involved declined to prosecute.
