Lisbon man gets 3 years community control for not reporting address
LISBON — In Common Pleas Court, Douglas Eugene Gill, 39, East Lake Road, Lisbon, was placed on three years community control for failure to provide notice of a change of address, a second-degree felony. Gill, who has a conviction in Texas for indecency with a child in 2009, failed to alert the county sheriff in this county of his address change on Sept. 23, 2019.
Murdo D. Urquhart, 43, Youngstown, was placed on four years community control for three counts of non-support of dependents. Urquhart was charged after not providing substantial support for three children between March 1, 2014 and Feb. 7, 2020. Those children are currently 17, 19 and 24.
Anthony J. Welsh, 19, Quaker Church Road, East Rochester, pleaded guilty to obstructing official business, a fifth-degree felony, for assisting a co-defendant, Tyler Faulkiner, in fleeing from police and impeding the duties of Deputy Damin Beadnell, both on March 8. A sentencing hearing was set for April 16, when he faces up to two years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
Two third-degree felony OVI charges against Allen D. Culberson, 48, Cusick Road, West Point, were dismissed due to the death of the defendant. The charges stemmed from his alleged actions in September of 2019.
