— A security check at the Southern Local High School found the door of the fitness center open about six to eight inches. Nothing appeared amiss inside and the deputy closed the door, which automatically locks.

— Several small explosions were reported in the area of Knox School Road in Knox Township at 3:01 a.m. Sunday. Deputies checked the area and could hear some popping, but could not pinpoint a location. It was determined to be noises due to the quick drop in temperatures causing the ground and trees to freeze.

— Someone was reported trespassing in an unoccupied apartment on state Route 172 in West Township at 12:27 a.m. Sunday. Deputies found no sign of entry and the apartment unoccupied.

— A woman at East Liverpool City Hospital reported a case of domestic violence at 2:15 p.m. Thursday. A warrant was issued for Brian J. Hamilton, Hillcrest Road, Wellsville.

— A possible overdose was reported at a Clarkson Road, Elkrun Township, home at 5:33 p.m. Thursday. Deputies spoke to EMTs who said when they entered the home they found the man lying in the bedroom and were able to awaken him without using Narcan. Deputies collected suspected narcotics to be sent to the lab for testing.

— Someone reported people breaking into a building on state Route 7 in Madison Township at 10:13 p.m. Friday. Deputies spoke to the owner of the property, who said the people are permitted to be there.

— A noise disturbance was reported at a Jefferson Street, Salineville, home at 12:16 a.m. Sunday. Deputies spoke with a man, whose vehicle had broken down in the roadway. A tow truck was there.
